The Halloween Avocet

We had a quick pumpkin carve on Wednesday in the Coombes Valley office, followed by a lovely meal that evening to say goodbye to our visitor experience officer. She’s moving on to bigger and better things but will be greatly missed.

This is the first pumpkin I have ever really carved and I quickly learnt that transferring a flat logo onto a round surface is harder than you think (hence the slightly droopy b)! But I’m still pleased with how mine turned out; in fact, they all looked really fantastic for a bunch of not-all-that-artistic conservation types.
